In the 1970s, China’s export-oriented economy grew rapidly. Based on the development trend at that time, the government planned to build four buildings that integrate four major functions such as commodity display, trade services, conference services, and hotel catering, International Trade Building, International Conference Center and Grand Hyatt Hotel, together form a complete four-in-one building group, known as the Taipei World Trade Center, which provides the most convenient and complete services for those engaged in international trade.
